All Christmas markets are hosted outside and require a significant amount of time spent in the freezing weather. You'll be out for hours visiting the amazing stalls, and no one enjoys freezing earlobes or fingertips.

Cash is usually the sole form of payment accepted unless you're at a huge corporation stall. The majority of the stalls are temporary wooden huts, so save your plastic for cash machine top-ups if you don't want to miss out on tempting goodies.
